FAMOUS AUSTRALIAN MASONS: Australia has had a number of Prime Ministers and eminent people who have been Freemasons, this page presents just a few:
What is a Lodge of Instuction? Put simply, it is an informal educative meeting where members are able to rehearse and practice skills in a relaxed manner as opposed to the formal workings of the lodge. Any member of any lodge may attend a Lodge of Instruction.
.
Our Lodge of Instruction page presents links to lectures and other useful sites endorsed by the UGLV as well as some interesting facts about famous Masons.
|
In particular it is an opportunity for junior Freemasons to ask questions, practice ritual and explore the workngs of their lodge and freemasonry in greater depth. It also allows an opportunity for those more experienced to impart their wealth of knowledge of Freemasonry and also their life experiences on to younger brethren.
The Seymour Lodge holds what is known as a "Travelling Warrant" that allows other lodges in the Goulburn and North Central regions to also use the Warrant on an 'as required basis' for the purpose of instruction of members of their lodges.
