WELCOME TO SEYMOUR
WELCOME TO SEYMOUR
Located in the heartland of Australia's smallest mainland state of Victoria, Seymour is a township of 7000 people where Freemasonry has played an important part of the social history and development of community as it has with many other communities world wide.
Today's Seymour Lodge is an inclusive and family focussed fellowship where spouses/partners and families are encouraged to become involved with much of the social and community focussed workings of the lodge.
Members gain as much from being involved in Freemasonry in terms of self development as they give. Lodges are located in every major town and city throughout Australia and indeed the world with visiting these lodges and networking being a major part of the fraternal working of Freemasonry.
Seymour is just one of many thousands of lodges around the world. Lodges don't survive without community support and we welcome all men of good hearts and strong personal values to consider becoming a member of their local lodge. Ancient stone masons built the Pyramids, monuments, and places of worship. Modern Freemasonry builds the man.

The Seymour Lodge 87 promotes a better an caring community by actively working with many other community groups, social clubs and organisation as well as tapping the wider network of masonic society. Today our lodge consists of members who represent a range of occupations, ethinic origins and age groups. Whilst there are regional variations to masonic ceremony and ritual, the ethos and values practiced by Freemasons are the same the world over. Freemasonry transcends race, religion, social status and borders. The welcome in any lodge is always warm and genuine.
